2 in kidnapping case in Cape
Two men were expected in court yesterday over the kidnapping of a Cape Town businessman.
Armed men forced the Chinese man, who owns a business in Strand, into their vehicle, said Western Cape police spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa.
They allegedly demanded cash as ransom for his release. A team tracked the men down in Khayelitsha on Thursday and rescued the businessman. He had serious burn and assault wounds.
