Cape Island joins forces with NGOs to fight the spread of cancer

Luxury home fragrance brand Cape Island has partnered with cancer awareness organisati­on, PinkDrive and More Balls Than Most, which are initiative­s committed to promoting cancer awareness and providing health education and services to men and women across South Africa.

The partnershi­p campaign aims to extend the reach of PinkDrive’s message while raising funds for the organisati­on by donating a percentage of proceeds from the sale of selected Cape Island luxury home fragrance products.

Cape Island was founded in 2015 by managing directors Suzanne Snowdowne and Karin Wood and now employs a team of dynamic women. “This cause is so dear to our hearts,” said Snowdowne. “Cancer has a massive impact on the lives of those affected by the disease and their families, and the most vulnerable are no exception. There are so many who do not have access to health services and discover their condition at a very late stage.”

The PinkDrive campaign, along with other related initiative­s, improves cancer prevention and control countrywid­e. Every cent received will directly assist to promote early detection and screening for gender-related cancers in SA.
