Carver set to tour country

-

Louise Carver takes to the road next month with her new single Take My Hand. Eleven dates have been confirmed.

“I am so excited to perform again after such a stressful time – looking forward to enjoying the energy that only a live show can create,” said Carver.

Take My Hand, her latest single, celebrates life and being together again after lockdown and social isolation.

As the song lyrics say, “Celebrate this moment, this is happening. Now we take it outside, sip the champagne, unwind. No more stress, let it rest, did your best, people laughing” – and what better way to action them than with a tour.

She’ll be joined on stage by talented Simphiwe “Simz” Kulla, from The Muffinz, who also produced the single.

They will be travelling from Johannesburg to White River, then dropping in on Middelburg before making appearances in nine other stunning locations in Gauteng, the Eastern and Western Cape.

The Take My Hand tour encompasses all of Carver’s hits, including Empty Fantasy, Impossible Love, Didn’t Mean to Call, Home and Warrior, plus new songs off her soon-to-be-released seventh studio album.

Putting two of South Africa’s finest musicians together on stage makes for an exciting evening.

Carver started her professional career at just 15, when she was signed to her first record label.

Her debut single It Don’t Matter went to No 1 when she was 17, and she has gone on to achieve 16 top-10 singles (four international No 1s) and 11 South African Music Award nominations.

She was a 46664 ambassador in 2008, performing alongside Peter Gabriel and Annie Lennox.
