Nick Drewe, Trend Specialist at WeThrift said: “It seems that creating a themed table setting is the biggest trend this Easter, with a 283% search volume on Pinterest. If you’re having friends and family over during autumn, then you’ll want to make your table decor look as festive as your menu.

“Whether you usually celebrate Easter with a Sunday dinner with your family or have a more relaxed brunch, you can make the occasion feel even more special by adding some Easter touches to your table setting. Decorate with fresh flowers such as tulips or daffodils, themed napkins, a floral tablecloth and Easter ornaments.

“Wreaths shouldn’t just be saved for the Christmas period. They make a beautiful decoration­s at any time of the year, especially Easter.

From wreaths covered in pastel-coloured eggs to those topped with realistic faux foliage and flowers, Easter wreaths make the perfect front door accessory or hallway decoration for an instant autumn makeover.

“In Germany, it’s tradition to decorate trees and bushes with Easter eggs during their spring, and it is known as Ostereierb­aum or an Easter egg tree. This is somewhat of a new trend in the UK and is rapidly growing in popularity, with a 141% increase in search volume. On Instagram, #eastertree has 57 360 posts and showcases how people are creatively getting into the Easter spirit while waiting for the next season to arrive.
