Interesting that more than a million children in Ghana, Kenya and Malawi have received at least one dose of the first anti-malaria vaccine. This could save between 40 000 and 80 000 children in Africa each year. No mention of bodily integrity being compromised. Perhaps the mothers know a life-saving thing when they see it. Jenny Sterne

Hey Mike Paul, how about trying another Pick n Pay? I bought six fabulous big juicy lemons in ours, 1.2kg for R24.75.

In reply to a letter by Mike Paul on Friday, I noticed the price of Pick n Pay-branded tinned dog food went from R18.99 to R23.99 in one week. That percentage increase is just plain greed as the fuel increase definitely doesn’t warrant that price jump.

With the constant load shedding, I often wonder what André de Ruyter has achieved at Eskom other than managing to reduce their debt. And I’d like to know where I can send my take-away bills so I can get my refund as I can’t cook due to their load shedding timing every night.

I must agree with the first paragraph of the story you published about Elon Musk buying Twitter: Sometimes it feels like it’s Elon Musk’s world and we just live in it. No end to the man. CH
