What a short memory Koko has (or ignorance). Already forgotten just how much load shedding there was and now still is because of the Guptas and corrupt ANC associates.

Gina B (The Citizen, 29 April) refers: I agree that if anyone ever deserved the Nobel Peace Prize for humanitarian acts it is the organisation, Gift of the Givers, which we all salute.

Ninety-nine percent of South Africans would prefer to see the ANC fall rather than SA. Except Ramaphosa and his ANC corrupt cohorts who stated that the party comes first. When the ANC thieves collapse SA, they’ll be gone to collect their ill-gotten gains from the countries where they’ve been hiding it. And Ramaphosa still shows his over-fed face in public without shame.

With all that happened under Zuma, you cannot tell me Cyril Ramaphosa did not know what was going on.

Mr Alexander Areliev, your letter of 28 April sounds just like the ANC when they open their mouths. Blame everyone else for their mistakes and downfall. Really, who are you trying to convince? FelixG

Reply to Anon: which friendly bank? The bank I went to at Lakeside Mall where I was told I could get IDs was rude and said they are not home affairs. My wife and I are both over 70. Where is your friendly bank?

Can the ANC finally admit it needs the finance, expertise and brainpower of the private sector? However, business has to lay down the blueprint for action, as the ANC are clueless and can’t be trusted. Dennis Levin

The tennis courts have helped Boris Becker make a fortune, most of which he lost and now he is basically penniless. The courts of law have given him some extra help by providing him with free accommodation for a while. The lesson to be remembered is that karma will balance things out for all of us even if it takes a while.

Dennis Fitzgerald

I am back in SA after four months in UK. One thing I know now is that the UK government is just as pathetic as ours. They ranted on and on because Boris had a party during lockdown. Now I see how the ANC have really been having a party during lockdown. Boris can learn from them how to really party.
