Frustrations of renewing a licence

-

Ijust wish to tell everyone out there that Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula is lying to the public. According to him, the licensing departments will even be open over weekends.

My driving licence card expired on 22 March, 2022. To be on the safe side, I renewed it on 15 December at the Krugersdorp licensing department.

At the end January, I went to check if my new licence card was ready for collection, only to find that the workers were on strike.

In the middle of February, I went back again, only to notice that they were still on strike.

In the beginning of March, the offices were reopen but my new card was still not available. I was told to come back at the end of April when it should be ready.

I went back last week Friday, only to find that they are once again on strike.

So, will this sleek-talking minister please tell us when the people working for him will decide to finally start working again?

One wastes time and petrol only to be frustrated because Mbalula cannot run his portfolio properly. Tom Henning

I’d rather stay at work than come home to this mess. We rent these flats from the state, but they don’t give a damn about maintaining it.
