This has been another disastrous season for the Lions.

Presently lying in last position in the Currie Cup, without a win in nine matches, and in the bottom half of the URC competition.

This is a franchise that reached three consecutive Super Rugby finals between 2016 and 2018, but have gone downhill since the departure of coach Johan Ackermann. Ben de Vos
