Flag project symbolises foolishness
The imbecilic flag issue is symptomatic of a government consisting of ministers of whom my mathematics teacher yonks ago would’ve described as fools.
Even youngsters on the street, interviewed for a news channel when told of Minister Nathi Mthethwa’s, pictured, idea – some of them had not heard of the issue beforehand – looked into the camera with disbelief written over their faces.
One young woman screamed into the microphone: “What? You kidding me? Is this question meant as an April Fool’s joke? R22 million for a flagpole? Who did you say was the idiot who came up with this idea?”
She summed it up beautifully, and represented the feelings of all intelligent people.
And Mthethwa, on the other hand, undoubtedly represents the intelligence (sic) of a government of halfwits. Henry CB
