Dear doctor,

My eyes always have this thick white sticky substance in the corners. What is this and what causes it?

White discharge from the eyes could be due to eye infection or inflammation. Please visit your doctor so they can properly diagnose and give you eye drops to treat this.

Dear doctor,

If my seven year old child’s tongue is always white, is that a sign of poor health?

It may be because of low blood count (anaemia) that the tongue is white. There may also be local infections like fungus or bacterial infections causing this. Please visit the doctor and get a diagnosis.
