AN HONOURABLE JOB
Every day, South Africa’s emergency and rescue personnel give 100% to saving lives – not because it is their job, but because they believe every single life is worth saving. More often than not their stories of courage go unrecognised and unrewarded. Centrum Guardians was created to honour these brave people and give them the respect they deserve.
1. TRAPPED
A joint demonstration showing a vehicle extrication during the Centrum Guardians media launch held at the Leon Ferreira Fire Station in Boksburg last Wednesday. The Centrum Guardian finalists were announced and the media treated to emergency rescue demonstrations.

2. GAS MAN

3. BURN OUT
Local firefighters extinguish a fire during a demonstration. During July and August, the public can help to save a life when purchasing any Centrum product. For every pack of Centrum sold, the company will contribute funding towards specialised training for the emergency and rescue services.
4. SAFE WISE
With loadshedding a daily occurrence, Moahloli Moahloli demonstrates safety instructions while using gas. The South African Emergency and Rescue Services are ranked amongst the best in the world.
5. FLYING HIGH
Local firefighters showcase a high angle rescue and canine demonstration. Since 2008, Centrum has been recognising the awe- inspiring work of these individuals.
