Fraser appointed as new spy boss
The ministry of state security has announced the appointment of Arthur Fraser as new director-general and accounting officer of the State Security Agency with effect from yesterday.
The appointment was made by President Jacob Zuma, in terms of the constitution and relevant legislation.
Fraser has served in operations in the former National Intelligence Agency, and also served as a deputy director-general in the department of home affairs responsible for immigration services, the ministry said. – Citizen reporter
