Game Of Fun could make for Happy Hong Kong punters

– The Indian Recreation Club Challenge Cup is the main event on the Happy Valley card this week and John Size’s Game Of Fun looks a good chance to win his second race this season.

This speedy son of Snitzel has proven a model of consistency at the city course this season over 1200m with a win and three seconds.

He meets a few rivals he competed against three weeks ago, and then had to do some work through the early stages. The main danger comes from Silver Spun who gets a drop to this class for the first time.

The main concern is he may have to cover ground, but on the “A” Course with the rail in the true position, this may not be such a disadvantage.

Bumble Baby finished alongside Game Of Fun the last time they met and given they meet on similar terms, he has to be given claims to figure in the finish. Victor Emperor is another who has been holding his form well and from the good draw should be competitive, while the blinkers go on Contribution for the first time and he warrants respect.

The second feature event is the sixth race, The Singapore Turf Club Trophy and there could be a nice Eachway value bet in this one with David Ferraris’ The Sylph.

One of the better bets on the card is in the final event with Winner’s Way for Tony Cruz and Zac Purton.

Chad Schofield has a very good book of rides and Kwaichung Brothers should prove hard to beat in the second race.
