The ANC has abandoned the people
The recent e-mail probes and findings about the relationship between Jacob Zuma’s family and the Guptas is a clear indication that Zuma hates his own country that he claims to serve with honesty.
As the president of the ANC, he and his deputy Cyril Ramaphosa, pictured, have been going from door to door selling to unsuspecting citizens.
Once they got voted into power, their promises developed wings and flew away from the poor citizens, who were left open-mouthed like starving chicks.
Corruption and dishonesty are the worst enemies of accountability.
Nowadays, Cyril Ramaphosa is very vocal because he is one of the ANC presidential candidates.
My question is: why was he so quiet when corruption reared its ugly head in his party?
Is it because he is just too scared of being shown the door by Zuma?
Can Zuma imitate Nelson Mandela by taking half of his pay and giving it to the suffering, orphaned children?
The late Mandela was not only the president, but was a patriotic statesman who was quite obviously passionate about his own country.
Zuma, on the other hand, will leave nothing but undesirable footprints when he quits politics.
If the ANC doesn’t serve the people to their satisfaction, why keep on voting it into power?
Why don’t we opt for another political party?
