Suspected drug mule arrested

A 35-year-old woman is expected to appear in the Bellville Magistrate’s Court today after she was arrested at the Cape Town International Airport for alleged possession of cocaine.

Hawks spokesperson Captain Lloyd Ramovha said an intelligence-driven operation which also included crime intelligence and border police saw the arrest of the suspect after a flight from Luanda, Angola, landed. She was arrested on Wednesday. – ANA
