We need a coach with a track record

-

There is no doubt in many people’s minds that Allister Coetzee, pictured, is the wrong option for Springbok coach.

He continues to talk drivel about so-called positives, including saying that you can take the positives out of our game straight after New Zealand thrashed us 57-0.

The thing I dislike about him is that he never owns up and takes responsibility. He is fooling nobody. He is a passenger!

I hear rumblings of Peter de Villiers or Mzwandile Stick being brought back in a managerial capacity. Why not someone like Chester Williams?

Do we want to compete in the World Cup in 2019 or just turn up?

It’s time to look at someone like John Mitchell, who had an 85% success rate coaching the All Blacks. Even someone like Graham Henry (World Cup winner) or Laurie Mains will never let you down. They will be a damn sight better than this mediocre and delusional coach.

I am encouraged by Rassie Erasmus being involved. I would even look at Sevens coach Neil
