Bidders to be spoilt for choice

Park Village Auctions have lined up a large collection of rigid trucks, truck tractors, trailers, LDVs, agricultural, plant and earthmoving equipment to be auctioned on Tuesday.
“The upcoming auction presents an opportunity for prudent business owners to acquire newer assets without over-extending themselves,” says PVA’s head of asset recovery, LeRoy Augustyn.
Bidders will be spoilt for choice as rigid trucks and truck tractors from manufacturers such as Freightliner, Hino, International, Isuzu, Iveco, Mercedes Benz, Mitsubishi Fuso, Nissan, Scania, Tata, Toyota Dyna, Volvo as well as various MAN TGA and TGS models will be brought to market.
Under the banner of trailers and earth moving equipment, PVA will auction flat deck link trailers, SA Truck Bodies, Henred Fruehauf, Afrit and Motor Trail flat deck, side tippers, Tautliner trailers, skidsteer loaders, excavators and backhoe loaders.
Stand out items include Bell B40D dumpers, an Atlas Copco compressor, New Holland TD5.90 and T8 390 tractors, as well as a New Holland CR 8070 harvester.
Augustyn explains that the volume of assets to go under the hammer stems mainly from bank repossessions, demonstrating the effects that downgrades, droughts, and political uncertainty had on many industries.
He believes the auction will attract buyers on the hunt for good quality second-hand assets so as not to incur unnecessary debt.
Such buyers should make their way to PVA’s truck yard at Nasrec on Randshow Road, on Tuesday, where the auction will commence at 10.30am. For those who cannot be there in person, PVA invites bidders to participate online via their website parkvillageauctions.co.za.
