Swansea City had their wings chopped off and fell from England’s top flight football into the second-tier Championship following a forgettable campaign in the English Premier League last season.

The sole goal for the Swans is surely to climb back up to the Premier League where they’ve spent the last seven seasons.

The fight begins today with an away visit to Sheffield United at Bramall Lane in South Yorkshire as the Championship kicks off this weekend. In preparation for what will be a long and grueling journey, Graham Potter’s men have been touring the world playing international club friendlies ahead of the new season.

However, the Swans have not been doing well in their pre-season drills it seems, having lost to Italian side Genoa, German duo Magdeburg and Freiburg, and also succumbed to Spanish side Eibar, but did win against Yeovil. Nonetheless, I back them to win against the Blades today.
