Sporting sign Majafa

Former Orlando Pirates midfielder Roger Majafa (above) has surfaced at new National First Division (NFD) side TS Sporting. Majafa, who has spent the past two seasons without a club after leaving Bucs has been struggling to find a new home while training on his own and playing amateur football and five-a-side tournaments to keep fit. “He has been in Mpumalanga for the past two weeks, this is a big break for him and I’m certain he will make it work,” said the source. “He came here for trials and the coaches loved what they saw. He is a very intelligent player and knows his way around a ball, that’s why they decided to sign him. Plus, coach Benson Mhlongo has worked with him before, so he will be vital for the team,” said the source.
