Former Orlando Pirates and Baroka FC attacking midfielder Gift Motupa has made a good start to life at his new club Bidvest Wits. However, Motupa had to withdraw from the Clever Boys’ squad for their meeting with SuperSport United on Saturday at the last minute, after putting out his back. “Motupa pulled his back, he phoned me last night and said he couldn’t move,” revealed Wits coach Gavin Hunt after Wits had lost 1-0 to at the Bidvest Stadium, their first defeat of the season.
