Tembo goes shopping

SuperSport United coach Kaitano Tembo (below) is hoping to land a centreback before the transfer deadline day at the end of the month. “We are looking to add some players in certain positions, like in the defence. We lost Denwin Farmer, Tefu Mashamaite and Azubuike Egwuekwe. We brought in Bongani Khumalo as cover at centreback but we are still looking to reinforce in that department. We will take our time, give the ones around us some time and we will take it from there,” said Tembo.

Senong eyeing Swaziland?

Amajita coach Thabo Senong (above) is said to be interested in the Swazi national team job which is vacant and has been advertised recently. Senong has been with Amajita for a while and is said to be open to a new challenge and the

post could be the perfect break for him. “He has wanted to grow for a while now and has made himself available to a few local teams but it never led to anything. This could be the chance for him to show he is not just a juniors coach and could coach at the highest level. He has the qualifications and the experience. I don’t see why he should not go for it,” said a source.
