After a promising start to the season, Chelsea have started to hit the skids under Maurizio Sarri, and a slump in form is exactly what you don’t need when you have a home game coming up against the all-conquering Manchester City.

Sarri’s Blues have lost two of their last three EPL matches, their unbeaten record going in an embarrassing performance against Tottenham, and on Wednesday night, they contrived to throw away a lead against Wolves at Molineux.

City have coped seamlessly with the loss to injury of Kevin De Bruyne, Chelsea have not looked similarly capable, now that Eden Hazard has endured a slump in form.

It is very hard for me to do this as a Chelsea supporter, but I just can’t see anything other than a City win.
