Wellness trends for 2019

-

2019 is well on its way and March is approaching. Humans are incredible creatures, but we are constantly striving to evolve, improve the status quo and ultimately take our race to the next level. In health and wellness terms, what are some of the most trending ideas that will help our lives mentally, physically and emotionally for the better? Researchers, inventors, data analysts and health engineers are basically finding ways to biohack our bodies to perform better and sleep better all the while decreasing the stress levels.

Just because the Flintstones used rocks as wheels didn’t mean they knew it all. Someone had a moment and realised that stone wheels could be improved. Or that someone was just tired of getting everywhere late and hence it was a passion to try and figure out how to make this situation better.

Yes it’s a tongue-in-cheek example, but the principles are the same. People got “gatvol” of doing 1 000 sit-ups a day which took forever. So they experimented with electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) technology which uses current to stimulate the muscle and does the same job as a normal crunch in a quarter of the time. This method has become very popular for busy businesspeople and high-performing athletes like Cristiano Ronaldo, who endorses an EMS brand in Great Britain.

Just image if we could hack our bodies

It is revving and purring like a kitty and by kitty I mean like a sabre-tooth tiger. Lounges are no different for humans. It is equipped with compression technologies to help tired, swollen legs and ankles regain life and mobility.

trending and lo and behold at the top of most lists is Recovery Lounges. I chuckle, because I have seen this coming for a while now without reading about it in mainstream media. I have positioned a topic since far too many people are not getting the right amount of outdoor exposure needed from the sun to regenerate the body. Humans are spending far too much time in front of the television, on phones, computers and headphones. The blue light emitted from these devices is causing a host of health problems. Light is energy and different coloured lights have different effects on our body, depending on the wavelengths of part of my business, TheChillTub Recovery lounges, to support sporting events, clubs, schools and professional athletes.
