Nine meetings in five days

-

Last week was arguably the worst seven days most punters have experienced in a very, very long time.

Heavy rain showers resulted in three of the five scheduled race meetings being abandoned during the week and to rub salt into the wound, officials were forced to move Sunday’s Scottsville card to today.

The great news for punters is that the skies have cleared and in effort to make up for lost time and afford its loyal customers with multiple chances to make a lot of money, TAB will offer mouth-watering pay-outs as nine race meetings will be held over the next five days.

Yes, you read that right – a total of nine meetings in five days!

There are two meetings today, one at Turffontein racecourse and the other at Scottsville, and both have massive Pick 6 carryovers so get in on the action.

The Scottsville MEGAPOOL has a R200 000 carryover that is expected to reach a cool R1.5 million and Turffontein’s MEGAPOOL has a R100 000 carryover that is also estimated to hit the R1.5 million mark.

The Vaal will be the only race meeting held on Thursday, but you’ll be spoilt for choice over the next three days.

First, Port Elizabeth hosts a turf meeting during the day on Friday 22 February and Greyville a night meeting later.

Saturday’s Cape Town Prawn Festival will be headlined by the Grade 2 Khaya Stables Diadem Stakes, and three other features – with racing at Turffontein serving as the under card.

As usual, racing will return to KwaZulu-Natal on Sunday afternoon with a meeting at on the Greyville Polytrack. And at Borrowdale Park in Zimbabwe the Listed Ipi Tombe Stakes will be contested. To take a bet Go to www.tabonline.co.za or www.bettingworld.co.za
