The colt Sark chased home the Dennis Cason-trained Fleur Du Cap and he also chased home Assisted Take Off last time but could go one better this time and score in race 5, a MR 66 Handicap over 1800m.

The drop from 2200m to 1800m will suit Sark and jockey Mathew Thackeray, who knows the horse well, jumps back aboard.

Incidentally blinkers have also worked with Sark as he has been consistent with them on.

It is a difficult card for punters, and we might have to try our luck with a Swinger in Race 1.

In a weak field All About Sophia and Foursixsixfour can get involved with the finish.

All About Sophia clearly needed her first start on the sand since arriving from the Western Cape and did much better in her second start.

She gets a promising 2.5kg claimer with Cole Dicken aboard.

Foursixsixfour showed what she is capable of with a decent runner-up berth behind easy winner La Bahia last time out and showed she is a better filly without the blinkers.

The drop to 1000m should also suit this Captain Corageous filly.
