Do It Again back again to defend Queen’s Plate title
Even though only 10 runners were nominated for the L’Ormarins Queen’s Plate at Kenilworth on 11 January, it still promises to be the race of the season.
Defending champion Do It Again is back again and looks certain to put a flat Green Point Stakes effort behind him.
Trainer Justin Snaith has also nominated Crown Towers, who appears a likely pace maker.
Mike de Kock fields two big guns in 2019 runner-up Soqrat and the highly exciting Hawwaam, who has been priced up favourite in the ante-post market.
There will also be plenty of attention focused on Vardy. Adam Marcus’ charge has won impressively at Grade 3 and Grade 2 level in his last two starts and looks a future Grade 1 winner if ever there was one.
Rainbow Bridge is another not to be taken lightly.
Supplementary entries will be accepted up to 11h00 on Friday 3 January.
Declarations are due by 11h00 on Monday 6 January.
