Mr Kaizer Motaung is a very patient football club owner. He’s shown us that he has a great vision for his club by re-hiring coach Ernst Middendorp. “Chincha Guluva” has great insight on coaches both locally and abroad. His patience is finally paying off.

Percy Tau seems to be a good ambassador for South African football in Belgium. Club Brugge will never regret it but will always be thankful for signing him Letladi

“We’re each other’s keeper”. These words ring true in Junior Khanye and Masibuzane Zongo’s soccer careers. The former invited the latter to his hometown of Daveyton for an annual festive soccer tournament. What a kind gesture Junior.

Baba Bhungane

Judas Moseamedi deserves a Bafana Bafana call-up. He’s showing hunger to succeed this season. Judas is a hustler up front and has the ability to take on defenders.

Ernst Middendorp of Chiefs became the first coach to win three successive Coach-of-the-Month accolades. This is a strong message to football fans that Chiefs are back with a bang. Masemza

Sundowns are now getting value for money on Andile Jali. He’s in good condition and physically fit. Jali is a workaholic and a real fighter in the middle.

Nelly K

I enjoyed the battle between Jali of Downs and Monare of Wits out in the field. They put their friendship aside and played good football.

Nel

Football can be such a “fun, cruel and crazy” game as the late Johnny Clegg lamented. Whoever thought Simphiwe “Shabba” Tshabalala and Sfiso Myeni can struggle to secure PSL contracts? This should serve as a wake-up call to other pigskin chasers that when an opportunity presents itself, it must be utilised.

Sizwe

One question for Mr Middendorp, Why was Ngezana on the field? Bheki Sibeko

Happy People have had a Happy Xmas, that’s a good start for the New Year. Once a Pirate always a

Pirate.

Oom Frank

Keegan Buchanan keep on showing these anti-playmaker soccer coaches that there is place for players like him.

Bheki Sibeko

Was so impressed by Bhele Nomvethe’s coming out of retirement to come and show youngsters that if you live a clean life, you can go far in this sport. Salute Bhele! Goodenough

As long as Clinton Larsen continues to show favouritism by benching the prolific goal scoring machine, Muhamed Anas, he will soon be history like others before him.

Bafana

For coach, Pitso Mosimane, signing Tokelo Rantie was like going into a pub and courting a girl with a purpose of making her wife material. It will never work.

Baba Radebe

Why did Rhulani Mokwena look like an isolated figure on Pirates bench and never celebrated with the rest of the team members when they scored? He must never sulk and bide his time of one day becoming Bucs coach. For now he still lacks experience of coaching such a big club. He must not look like he is going to stab Zinnbauer in the back.

Radebe

Maritzburg United are fast becoming our hoodoo team and Judas Moseamedi is our hoodoo player. Anyway, it was a game worth watching. We were erratic but came out alive with a point that we should not have got. Thanks, Akpeyi. As for Katsande, it wasn’t his day.

Rudolf

The new Pirates coach must hit the ground running or else he will not be around by the Easter holidays. Josef Zinnbauer is unknown so we cannot talk much about his pedigree. Let us give him a chance.

Bompa

Daniel Akpeyi is proving those who doubted his capabilities wrong. His work rate week in and week out will make it difficult for Itu Khune to reclaim his number one spot

Aubuti Mareka

Instead of taking out Willard Katzande, Middendorp took out the effective George Maluleka.

Mphuthi

Tokelo Rantie and Masibuzane Zongo are one and the same. You can never separate one from the other. When they don’t have money they behave well, but when they have any in their accounts, they misbehave and become arrogant. No wonder that even Pitso Mosimane is still looking for the former.

Blessing

Maritzburg United finished the first round of PSL season well. I enjoy watching them playing attacking football. They should be proud of themselves.

Bompa

Coach Ernst Middendorp is right to be baffled by his reliable experienced players. The other day it was Cardoso, now it is captain Katsande.

Fankie

Josef Zinnbauer must make use of all the players he has, especially in defence. Possibly he will come up with a winning team, because that’s where the fault seems to be.

Kagisho

If rumours that Tokelo Rantie is nowhere to be found, then there’s something amiss in his mind. That after signing a lucrative contract with a top team and he vanishes into thin air. Boggles the mind.

Sam

Victor Gomes is the referee that is taking his job serious. When he is on the field the players come to him in good approach. I give Gomes an early Referee-of-the-Season nomination. He is doing his job by not favouring a side. He is following the footsteps of lan McLeod.

Irvin Moshidi

Ernst Middendorp shouldn’t punish a player based on a single mistake. It’s demoralising. Why did he take out George Maluleka this past weekend? Is it because of missing a sitter?

Mareka

Pitso Mosimane and kaboYellow deserve credit. This comes after their performance in Caf Champions League. SA has talent. I wish them all the best for their Caf tournament.

Irvin Moshidi

Supersport have thrown the spanner in the works. Thank you Tembo for stopping the runaway train - Chiefs

JD

I bet Middendorp is happy with Pirates’ new coach, now when he screams and shouts someone will understand him !!!

Uncle Hugh

Sundowns’ consistency in Africa is commendable. I hope they will bring this performance to the league to defend their title.

Makie Maila

Chiefs’ loss to SS United was a setback but another slip will be disastrous especially with Sundowns and Wits in hot pursuit.

Chief Makuwa

Chiefs are being chased by formidable opponents in Sundowns and Bidvest Wits. A slip will be catastrophic.

Terrisah Maila

Tokelo Rantie must know that without discipline, there’s no future for him. He was supposed to grab a second chance at Downs. No team will tolerate his ill-discipline.

Samy

An interesting finish to the league is on the cards with all the three top teams. But my money is on Masandawana.
