Moyes wants rule changed

The Citizen (KZN) - - Sports Express -

David Moyes, West Ham’s new manager, has called on the International Football Association Board (IFAB) to change the hand-ball law.

Moyes made the suggestion after his side were denied a stoppage-time equaliser by the video assistant referee in their 1-0 defeat against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane on Friday.

Robert Snodgrass thought he had levelled the scores, but replays showed the ball had been headed against Declan Rice’s arm from point-blank range by defender John Egan in the build-up. Moyes said IFAB should discuss the law at their annual meeting on 29 February in Belfast.
