Royal Eagles cannot afford Gcaba

The Citizen (KZN) - - Gossip -

Struggling GladAfrica Championship side, Royal Eagles are said to have terminated Ayanda Gcaba’s (above) contract just a few weeks after he was signed. The team are said to be struggling financially and Gcaba’s hefty pay cheque was no longer affordable. “They found a youngster who is as capable as Gcaba and of course his salary will be much lower. The youngster has had trials at AmaZulu and was once on a month-long trial with a German club but he was too young then and couldn’t adapt in a foreign land,” said a source. Phakaaathi has found out that the youngster’s name is Siphesihle Mtshali and it appears as if there are a few more players said to be on their way out.
