The government’s Covid-19 war is now characterised by the president sounding a tactical retreat and blaming ordinary citizens for its failure to properly prepare and equip its front-line soldiers and score any significant victory over the enemy (WC excepted).

To all those who petitioned for a cigarette ban, enjoy the rebanning of alcohol now. Karma is a bitch.

To the ANC, I will not authorise my financial advisor to invest even one cent in your plans for Eskom and infrastructure development. Considering the R1 trillion lost due to incompetent governance, as well as the ridiculous ban on cigarettes, alcohol and tourism, which is costing the country billions of rands in revenue and thousands of jobs/businesses.

NCCC, you will never control family gatherings in squatter camps and informal settlements. Forget it, they will not listen to you because you are one big joke.

Ediv

Mr Ramaphosa, you are a billionaire by running your companies with experienced people. Why don’t you use the same criteria when choosing your Cabinet and NCCC?

Ray Botha Ag

shame, poor Mmusi Maimane, he is trying everything in the book to ensure that he stays relevant and not be forgotten. It’s cold outside the DA, Mmusi.

How can Ramaphosa justify punishing millions of moderate drinkers, putting thousands out of work and depriving Sars of billions of rands in lost revenue just to chastise a few undisciplined partygoers?

Matt

Please, Sir, if I open all the windows in my house, may I have a drink at home?

MGH

All I’ve got to say is it has become glaringly obvious the taxis run this country.
