Tuesday to win on Saturday at Kranji

- Larry Foley Singapore

– After some terrific racing over the last few weeks and with the Group 1 Guineas to look forward to - this meeting does look a tad mundane on paper but there is plenty on offer for astute punters and casual racegoers alike.

Novice events are always worth a look and Race 7 is a beauty with two progressive three-year-olds in INFINITE WISDOM and TUESDAY the pick of the bunch.

At the race conditions, the youngsters with one win under their belt do get in very well at the weights and while INFINITE WISDOM will have admirers to make it two-from-two, TUESDAY has looked to take improvement out of his good (but green) debut win and could be very hard to beat.

Elsewhere on the card, another exciting type in ORACLE makes his much anticipated race debut in Race 2.

The Australian-bred threeyear-old is by NOSTRADAMUS, and while the relative new sire has only had a handful of runners in Australia, there are some big wraps on the likes of Clairvoyance, and ORACLE showed enough at a recent trial to think he also knows how to gallop.

He will face a stiff test on Saturday though, given Michael Clements will saddle DAY APPROACH and TIGER ROAR, who have both shown enough at the races to think they will win sooner than later.

With no Vlad Duric to worry about, the jockey to follow is Ruan Maia and while none of his mounts jump off the page, most are each-way hopes including BAFFERT, MADE IN RUSSIA and STRAP MARKS in Races 4, 12 and 14 respectively.
