Gcaba joins Cosmos
Former Orlando Pirates defender, Ayanda Gcaba has found a new home at GladAfrica Championship side, Jomo Cosmos. The 36-year- old has struggled to find a stable club since leaving the Buccaneers some five years ago and has had unsuccessful stints at Platinum Stars and Royal Eagles since then. But it looks like Lady Luck has smiled on him with the offer at Cosmos said to be decent enough for him to make a living. “He has joined Cosmos but I don’t know how many years he has signed. And it looks like he will captain the side because he was signed as a direct replacement for Ange Lebahi (who has joined TS Sporting),” said a source. Ezenkosi owner Jomo Sono is said to be rebuilding the team and allowed all the players to seek employment elsewhere if they felt they needed a change.
