Illiterate parents need Covid help

-

Iread with interest and appreciation the article by Kekeletso about parents becoming responsible. I couldn’t agree more. But the article doesn’t accommodate parents who are illiterate and have challenges understanding Covid-19. Many of them can’t read, write or understand the terminology and jargon around Covid-19, so how can they assist our children to always be safe?

Let the law enforcement agencies monitor those who indulge carelessly in superspreader activities like parties, after-tears and baby showers in the festive period.

Your children are blessed to have a caring and understanding mom, Kekeletso.

Assist illiterate parents to deal effectively with this demon. Thabo Moeketsi-Kagiso
