Two tennis greats a credit to game

What an absolute pleasure to listen to the interviews, on and off the court, of Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. Two great tennis players always willing to give of themselves whenever asked to do so. Magnanimous in defeat and humble in victory. Always praising their opponents and giving credit where credit is due. No petulance, whining or excuses.

Their professionalism is there for all to see, and so it is no wonder that they are adored and supported by millions of fans throughout the world.

They realise their obligation to the sport, their sponsors and, above all, their fans.

This obligation they carry out with aplomb. Young players, starting out on their career, could do well to try and emulate the example set by these two gentlemen of the courts. Great players, great personalities. A credit to the game of tennis.
