Govt, Eskom must take thieves on

Our electricity is still not back after four-and-a-half days as a result of our transformer being stolen.

I know there are probably hundreds of communities around the country suffering the same fate on a daily basis.

Eskom needs to up its game, and start offering serious rewards for information and convictions of the thieves, and the government needs to up its game with the introduction of harsher penalties for these crimes which are costing enormous sums of money overall.
