No food for travelling guests

- Gina B

Ihad visitors from overseas who were leaving South Africa to go back to Europe and by the time they had gone through handing in their luggage and passport control, it was 9pm.

They were very hungry as they had arrived at the airport at 6.30pm. They went to look for a restaurant to eat supper. Well what do you know? All were closed already.

How can an international airport be run like this?

We should be ashamed of this, knowing we want overseas tourists to come to South Africa. Never tell me we are a first-class African country.

This government does not know how to treat visitors at all. Get your act together and welcome those who will spend a lot of money that we need badly.

I really would like someone who runs the airport to answer this letter, but I’m not holding my breath.
