Best advice for my daughter

My 11-year-old daughter recently asked me what she should do if faced with a physical threat or imminent danger.

I regret having to say this but I gave her the best advice I could based on the current situation.

“My Love. Call me or my friends. Never ever, ever trust a police officer.”

Sad but true.
