Park Village Auctions (PVA) is poised to sell a commercial property with all the features of a cosy guest lodge in Vaal Marina. That's the word from PVA's Clive Lazarus, who says that savvy business buyers will lap up the opportunity to acquire accommodation real-estate before interest rates and the hospitality sector rebounds.

For this reason, the property will be sold via a timed online auction, allowing buyers to place considered bids and the time to outbid contesters.

The timed auction commences at 10am on Monday and concludes at 10am on Friday 20 May.

No 59 Pompano Drive, Vaal Marina, Gauteng, is described as a “multiple dwelling property”.

The main house is a split-level residential dwelling with a kitchen, a lounge, a bar area and a guest bathroom on the lower level, while the upper-level features two en-suite bedrooms and a study.

There is also a large terrace (with an adjustable covering) that offers views of the Vaal River.

Four separate chalets comprising two en-suite single-sleeper units and two en-suite double-sleepers appear in tiers down

the property. In total, the property measures 2 348m2.

Several recreational facilities, including Dam Diner Restaurant and Bar, Die Stasie Coffee Shop, Vaal Marina Waterfront Park and the Vaal Dam Picnic Spot, are within walking distance of the property.
