Make your fortune on the Yellowporscheroad

- Jack Milner

Bettors familiar with the story of The Wizard Of Oz will be familiar with the fact that to find the wizard, Dorothy is told to “follow the yellow brick road”.

That was later picked by Elton John in his song, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road.

Well, to gain that good fortune offered by the yellow brick road, punters would be well advised to follow Vaughan Marshall’ s Yellow porsche road in Race 1 at Kenilworth today, a Maiden Juvenile Plate over 1000m.

Of the nine runners, only three have racing experience and it looks as if Yellow porsche road is the one to beat.

This Pomodoro colt found only one better on his recent debut and should come on nicely with that experience gained.

While that form line has not been tested, it does seem that the winner of that race, Charles Dickens, is a promising sort.

Judged on the winning time of that race, Yellow porsche road doesn’t need much improvement to exit the maidens on his second attempt.

Anton Marcus takes the ride for a large group of prominent owners who will need to erect a marquee if they all arrive at Kenilworth to celebrate a victory.
