The Soweto Theatre, which boasts state-of-the art architecture with its three gleaming cubes, one red, blue and yellow, situated in the heart of the emerging Jabulani commercial node, is set to mark the anniversary with an array of special insights into the history of this monumental theatre.

The festivities will kick off on Friday, 27 May, with the Soweto Comedy festival, featuring J-Boogy, Pele Pele, Kedibone Mulaudzi and Zicco Sithole.

The following day is Africa Day Groove with performances by renowned artists from SJava, Nomfundo Moh, Peanut Butter and Jam, Malcom Jiyane, Bcuc, Crazey Black Dudes, The Brothers Move On, Nathi B, DJ Mofaya and many more.
