. “They like to play with the pressure. They like to know - dead or alive. I am pretty sure we will be there till the end. Because I know them. I see the faces before the games in the meetings. How they prepare. That means win Premier League, Champions League? No. I am not saying that. But that we will compete? That's for sure. Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola reckons that the pressures of challenging for multiple trophies hold no fears for his team.

“I don't think enough credit is given to these players. It's 21 games now unbeaten - with 16 wins, with 40 goals scored and 10 conceded.

They deserve to be in another semi-final, the fourth semi-final in a row. I think beating SuperSport is probably one of the games since I've been at this football club that I can look at and say that this team has matured, they've grown, they've developed. We didn't only show fighting quality, we also showed quality with a ball. Some of the play and some of the goals we created were top class. I was just really in awe of some of the quality that I witnessed.”

Stellenbosch coach Steve Barker feels his side deserve more accolades.

“The criticism in these moments is completely fine and absolutely right, it's all about how we deal with it. In the first half we didn't deal particularly well with the situation, but second half we pulled ourselves together and should have won the game but didn't. I saw the result. That's it.”
