Pros hunting down points

AFTER their blistering debut in the Zafa Premier League last week, Young Profession­als will be hoping to bag maximum points again this Sunday when they play Zama-Zama at the Wolfson Stadium C field.

Profession­als celebrated their promotion by thrashing Juventus 6-1, while Zama scored a narrow 2-1 win over Dynamos. Defending champions Eleven Angels, who started their season on a positive note with a comfortabl­e 3-0 win over Bubs, play Ghetto X1 tomorrow. Ghetto were thrashed 4-1 by Nubs last week.

IT will be a fight to the death at the Walmer Community fields this weekend as three teams battle it out for a place in the Wafa Marina Sea Salt Premier League.

Moscow, Brazil United and Manchester United will play a gruelling round-robin over two days to decide who will win promotion.

DEFENDING champions Shining Stars, who laid down the marker when they thrashed Tottenham Spurs 6-0 in the opening Mofa Buildit Premier League fixture, could score another big win on Sunday when they take on Real Strikers at the NU9 Stadium in Motherwell. Strikers lost 1-0 to Ikamva Movers in their opening fixtures.

Spurs, who must still be smarting from the drubbing by Stars, should salvage some pride when they play Subs in the final match of the day tomorrow.

Movers will have a break this weekend as their match against Young Tigers has been postponed.
