Pioneering organisation adds more development projects

-

SOUTH Africa has travelled a great journey of transformation, and with two decades of change behind it, our nation is on a continued path to seek out ways to evolve and to create future opportunities for all people.

Through partnerships with like-minded organisations and corporate South Africa, new opportunities for development have been made possible for the growth of entrepreneurship through B-BBEE contributions.

With almost 14 years’ experience and many accounts of positive transformation, The Hope Factory in Port Elizabeth has grown to be a strong enterprise development organisation, effectively governed by the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (Saica).

As a dynamic not-for-profit company, founded in 2001, The Hope Factory assists black business owners to grow personally to develop their businesses and give back to their communities.

Underpinned by effective mentorship as the strong foundation for all programmes, The Hope Factory provides corporate South Africa with an effective way of implementing impactful enterprise and socio-economic development solutions, and now also supplier development and skills development solutions with the amended B-BBEE codes.

“Supporting entrepreneurial development in South Africa should continue to form part of the DNA of South African organisations across all sectors,” the organisation says.

“Together with the investment from local companies, The Hope Factory boosts small business development and growth while assisting companies to earn points on their B-BBEE scorecards,” it adds.
