(Athenaeum, Belmont Terrace): This Bay-born young violinist is performing on Sunday at 3pm. Fourteen-year-old Neo, who now lives in Johannesbu­rg, will perform her favourite tunes from classical periods to modern pieces ranging from gypsy music, tangos and contempora­ry music. The show also features Neo’s seven-year-old pianist sister, Teboho, and local musicians including a group of Booysen Park primary pupils, a four-member string quartet and pianist Hanlie Young. Neo will also share the stage with Cape Town-based violinist Anele Mhlahlo. The local pupils participat­ing in the event are part of the Eastern Cape Philharmon­ic Orchestra’s Music Investment Project. Tickets are R80 for adults and R50 for children under 12.
