THE seesawing at the top of the Pefa Premier League will continue this weekend.

Log-leaders Callies play Central Acemates at EC Command on Saturday. Victory will see them maintain their two-point lead over Vodacom NMMU Madibaz, who have a match in hand.

In the first round Callies were lucky to earn maximum points, beating Acemates 3-2.

The teams return to action at Westbourne Oval on Sun- day for the quarterfinals of the Premier League Cup.

The students, who are unbeaten this season, face a tough match against Forresters at EC Command on Saturday. In the first round the students beat them 1-0.

The game between the two teams, lying second and third on the log, could be just as close this time.

Both teams will also be action again on Sunday in Premier League Cup quarterfinal matches.

The students should have an easy match against tail- enders PE Homerovers at South Campus, while it will be anybody’s match when Forresters and Highbury face off in Bridgemead.

While Hearts will be playing for pride when they host Motherwell Academy at the Lawson Brown High School field tomorrow, the visitors will be playing for survival in the Premier League.

After being one of the challengers for the championship in the first round, a dismal run saw Hearts drop out of the race. They are fifth on the log.
