Dash on for elite spots in cutthroat Premier League

-

THE race for the English Premier League soccer title reaches a crescendo this week, with 10 key games on today and tomorrow.

And fans of the English competition will not lose out because all 10 league matches will be broadcast live on SuperSport.

There are tantalising clashes on the programme, including a tough away trip for log leaders Chelsea and a fierce West Midlands derby.

The on fire Blues make a journey across London to West Ham United tomorrow night.

The Hammers have hit a wobble since manager Sam Allardyce claimed he was the most sophisticated boss in the Premier League, a comment that will not have gone unnoticed by the most successful – Chelsea’s Jose Mourinho.

But West Ham have the ability to surprise at Upton Park and will be able to unleash new Brazilian winger Nene.

Manchester United visit Newcastle United tomorrow night with their hopes of a top four league finish under a spotlight.

With only three league wins all season on the road, the Red Devils have not been happy travellers and St James’ Park is no place for the fainthearted under lights and with the home faithful in full voice.

The match will be another test of Louis van Gaal’s ability to fire up his red devils.

Also tomorrow, Manchester City host bottom side Leicester City, while Arsenal head across London to Queen’s Park Rangers, Tottenham Hotspur entertain Swansea City and Stoke City are facing Everton.

Burnley will seek to ease their relegation woes when they travel to Anfield to face Liverpool.

But before all that excitement, there is a West Midlands derby tonight that is about a lot more than bragging rights when Aston Villa entertain West Bromwich Albion. Villa have slipped into the relegation zone, but are hopeful new boss Tim Sherwood will help spark a revival.

West Brom have enjoyed better times under new manager Tony Pulis, but will be wary.

In other games tonight, Southampton face Crystal Palace and Hull City tackle Sunderland.
