Shock exit for Peace Lovers from KO event

DEFENDING champions Peace Lovers made a shock exit from the Peefa Tiguan KO competitio­n over the weekend when they were beaten 4-1 on penalties by Real Lion A in the preliminar­y round of the competitio­n.

In the quarterfin­als, Lion beat Mighty Birds 8-7 in a sudden-death penalty shootout after being 1-1 at the end of regulation time

Young Teenagers became another casualty when they lost 5-4 on penalties to Real Aces in the quarterfin­als.

Both Lion and Aces are the surprise packages in the semifinals.
