Your Stars

- with Jonathon Cainer

ARIES March 21 — April 21

There may be something you don’t know. But what, in particular, is it that you don’t know? You don’t know! And why don’t you know it? You don’t know that, either! We are beginning to compile a slightly worryingly long list of things that you don’t know. Fear not. You will know what you need to know, when you need to know it today.

TAURUS April 21 — May 21

Would you rather be a cog or a machine? Even the most powerful, finely tuned, mechanical device can become entirely ineffective if one tiny component malfunctions. Recent events have left you wondering about your own level of importance. You are about to discover that you matter greatly – where it matters most.

GEMINI May 21 — June 22

Shall we sing your praises? Shall we acknowledge your many advantageous attributes? Don’t you deserve to be seen in a positive light? Isn’t there plenty about you that is so very special that any spin doctor could soon turn into a tale of triumph over adversity and entitlement to enormous respect? Your heart has taken an unfair accusation lately. It’s time to right that wrong.

CANCER June 22 — July 23

How about a dance class? The planets are not specific about genre. They would smile equally on Latin, ballroom, waltz, disco or rave. You might even care to try some Psy-trance. It’s not just the opportunity for additional exercise that you might benefit from, it’s the reminder that life, itself, is a dance of a kind. You can now respond with grace to a change of rhythm.

LEO July 23 — Aug 24

When someone becomes overly assertive, we say they are “too big for their boots”. An odd idiom. Aren’t folk whose shoes pinch, more likely to be passive? Let us hope that if anyone is making an observation about your own tendency to lay down the law today, that it is just as wry and philosophical.

VIRGO Aug 24 — Sept 23

If you feel you can trust your judgement, why are you now asking someone else for their opinion? Must you keep asking ever more people till you find someone who confirms what you already know?

LIBRA Sept 23 — Oct 23

“Money can’t buy you friends”, said the late, great, Spike Milligan, “but it can get you a better class of enemy.” How strange that we live in a world that values so highly something of such questionable value. Ideally now, you wouldn’t have to want money for anything. But given that you do, perhaps you may yet find some.

SCORPIO Oct 22 — Nov 23

Well, you have made your mind up, haven’t you? Isn’t everything else a matter of execution? Aren’t you now just down to implementation strategies? It is time to stop looking behind now, and to start to press ahead.

SAGITTARIUS Nov 23 — Dec 23

We dance so delicately through life’s many minefields. All around us, it seems, are unexploded bombs, charged with inconvenient truths that could be triggered by a single indiscreet remark. Might someone else, in your world now, be equally apprehensive of setting off a chain reaction? Today, a potential explosion can be defused.

CAPRICORNDec 22 — Jan 21

“If I ruled the world,” sang Sir Harry Secombe, “every day would be the first day of spring.” The first day of spring may be a wonderful thing but it means very little without the first day of winter to contrast it to. A situation in your life now, is “less than perfect.” But isn’t there something almost perfect about what’s wrong with it?

AQUARIUS Jan 21 — Feb 20

“There used to be a real me, but I had it surgically removed.” So said the actor Peter Sellers. But then, nobody in this world can actually part company from their true identity, no matter how remote or confused they become. Recent events have left you a little unsure of who you really are. Coming events will rapidly restore you.

PISCES Feb 20 — March 21

We can all remember the teachers who inspired us to study a subject because they shared their own enthusiasm so freely. But can we also recall being deterred from showing any further interest in a topic or a discipline because we came under the instruction of someone whose attitude put us off? Today, there is information you need to heed, regardless of what you feel about the messenger.
