Rail coach blaze

DURBAN firefighters were battling a blaze that had spread to 11 train coaches yesterday at the Reunion railway station‚ south of Durban.

The cause of the fire had not yet been established.

KwaZulu-Natal Emergency Medical Service spokesman Robert Mckenzie said late yesterday the fire was extensive.

“Our paramedics and fire department members are at the scene. There are no injuries as yet‚” he said. – The Times
