You have seen the change from colony to republic to Rainbow Nation. You have seen presidents come and go and shared our sadness with the death of Nelson Mandela and outbreaks of xenophobia. We were cheered by good news of sporting achievements and informed by details of load-shedding and, since 1981, you have faithfully delivered The Herald every morning to our postbox.
